Game Overview:
Based on the classic arcade game Asteroids, this project was meant to showcase the abilities learned in our program. I was given a design document that featured expectations and issues that needed to be resolved. I had to execute these expectations on time and by the deadline. Space Shooter was the first game I ever fully created. I used Unreal Blueprints to create the game from start to finish. Assets were simple shapes created in Unreal.

I enjoyed working on this game, as it was the first time I could put all my skills learned into practice. It was a rewarding experience, and I learned a lot about problem-solving. I enjoyed being able to look at a game and think like a designer: "How did they get the timer to count?", "How did they create the scoring system?", etc, and then recreate that.
