Game Overview:
This project was my capstone project for graduation. I worked with fellow designers to create a full game that follows a narrative and flows together. We also worked with a team of talented artists for custom assets. We organized our game design documentation in Confluence and tracked tasks in Jira.

I created custom mechanics: moving platforms, fire damage obstacles, magic projectiles, falling damage, and falling reset collision. I also created the system to balance the magic feature and created the boss battle at the end from scratch. Ultimately this project is the accumulation of everything I have learned throughout my academic career. It needed every skill I have acquired, from communication and teamwork to technical skills, to level and game design principles. We based our concept on the classic game Ocarina of Time, and I am sure that influence is apparent throughout the game. I am extremely proud of this project and the team who created it.
